Former CNN Talking Head Goes On CRAZY Anti-Semitic Rant

Marc Lamont Hill was fired by CNN several months ago after he appeared before the United Nations to demand a “free Palestine from the river to the sea,” a terrorist talking point that essentially calls for the elimination of Israel. While Hill denied that he meant the phrase in that context, the controversy was too strong for even CNN to ignore. They gave Hill his walking papers.

Alas, the remarks did not inspire enough outrage from the larger left for them to oust Hill from their little group. Of course they didn’t – the modern, radical left is as steeped in anti-Semitism as they are in socialism. That’s why they invited Hill to speak at the annual Netroots Nation conference in Philadelphia, where you can be as wacky and hateful as you want, and the people will just love you all the more for it.

And Hill brought his game, speaking to the audience about the challenges faced by journalists when they want to present a pro-Palestinian story to the networks.

“They’re like, I want to work for Fox, or I want to work for ABC or NBC or whoever. I want to tell these stories,” he said. “You have to make choices about where you want to work. And if you work for a Zionist organization, you’re going to get Zionist content. And no matter how vigorous you are in the newsroom, there are going to be two, three, four, 17, or maybe one powerful person — not going to suggest a conspiracy — all news outlets have a point of a view. And if your point of view competes with the point of view of the institution, you’re going to have challenges.”

Right, we suppose that the disclaimer “not going to suggest a conspiracy” clears Hill of using a JEWS CONTROL THE MEDIA trope in front of the world. We’re sure the same people who forgive Ilhan Omar over and over again will be only too happy to take advantage of this thin fig leaf.

Hill’s remarks and the remarks of others on the panel, many of whom tried to paint “Zionism” in the same category as white supremacy, homophobia, and other ills of the world, drew condemnation from the Anti-Defamation League.

“Zionism is nothing like white supremacy,” said ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt. “Anyone who offensively claims Zionism is a white supremacist project is ignorant of the tremendous diversity of modern Israel and seeks to negate the millennia-old connection of Jews to the Land of Israel.”

Hill, for his part, denies having said anything wrong. “The idea of ‘Jewish controlled media’ is an anti-Semitic narrative that I wholly and unequivocally reject,” he tweeted. “My instinct is to ignore this, but I care too much about the subject to do so.”

Note that these are the same idiots who cry “Islamophobia” anytime someone says a cross word about HAMAS, CAIR, or the Muslim Brotherhood. It’s apparently just good for the gander, in this instance.
