The late John McCain’s funeral quickly turned into a political platform. A type of ‘bash trump’ ceremony, rather than the memorial to a man’s passing that it should have been. One hero took notice and spoke out against the loud voices of hate. His words should haunt McCain’s daughter for the rest of her life.
According to RWN, Robert J. O’Neill is a former United States Navy sailor. A former U.S. Navy SEAL and special warfare operator, O’Neill was the one who fired the headshots that killed Osama bin Laden during the raid on his Abbottabad compound on May 2, 2011. He’s also a true hero that never claimed to be a victim or used it for political gain.
O’Neill didn’t have much to say about John McCain’s funeral as far as I know. But the one tweet I did see was epic and it had to do with Meghan McCain and the way she took cheap political shots at President Trump during her father’s funeral. O’Neill tweeted, “If my daughter uses my funeral to take petty political jabs, I’m definitely going to haunt her.”

The New York Post cover is just one part of a brewing backlash against McCain and the overall funeral service for Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), which turned into an unseemly partisan rally Saturday with speakers like former Presidents Barack Obama and even George W. Bush trashing President Trump, who Sen. McCain refused to invite to his own funeral.
Also not invited was former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin, John McCain’s unfailingly loyal 2008 vice presidential running mate.
What made Saturday’s shocking display all the more crass was that Trump’s daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared were invited to the funeral and were forced to sit there and be humiliated, which might have been the plan. The McCains are infamous for holding petty grudges, Breitbart reported.
Below is a fraction of Megan McCain’s speech at her father’s funeral. We’ll save you the full speech but you can click here to watch it if you want:
As Written By Fox News:
Meghan McCain and President Barack Obama took apparent swipes at President Trump on Saturday in a eulogy for John McCain — who sparred with Trump on a number of occasions before his death last week of brain cancer.
“The America of John McCain has no need to be made great again because America was always great,’ McCain’s daughter said, in what appeared to be a reference to Trump’s presidential campaign slogan: “Make America Great Again.”
The remarks were made during a funeral service at Washington National Cathedral for the Arizona Republican, who died last week of brain cancer.
Obama’s jabs were more subtle but still appeared to be directed at the current occupant of the White House. He derided those in politics who traffic in “bombast and insult and phony controversies and manufactured outrage.”
