Joy Behar’s Latest Attack On First Lady Was Too Much For Even Her Co-Hosts

In a recent episode of The View, Joy Behar took on First lady Melania Trump basically saying she’s a Birther and therefore deserves no sympathy.

It started off well enough, with the lady’s of The View along with The Mooch giving Melania some praise for what she may be going through regarding the Stormy Daniels stuff and that’s about the time Behar decided… nah.

“We can’t really like her 100 percent because she is a birther like her husband,” Behar bemoaned. “I interviewed her on my HLN show and we made news on that because I asked her, ‘Do you think Obama was born in this country?’”

This stems back to a 2011 interview between Melania Trump and Joy Behar, where she asked if Trump wanted to see her own birth certificate.

“Do you want to see Obama’s birth certificate or not?”

“It’s not only Donald who wants to see [Obama’s birth certificate],” Melania responded. “It’s American people who voted for him and who didn’t vote for him. They want to see that.” Behar noted that Obama released his certificate of live birth and Melania said “We feel it’s different than a birth certificate.”

As reported by The Guardian:

The White House has attacked the credibility of Stormy Daniels, the adult film star who spoke out on US TV on Sunday night about her alleged affair with the president and threats she said she received. Concurrently, the legal battle between Daniels and Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen, grew fiercer.

Speaking from the podium of the White House press briefing room on Monday afternoon, administration spokesman Raj Shah said: “With respect to that interview, I will say the president strongly, clearly has consistently denied these underlying claims. The only person who’s been inconsistent is the one making the claims.”

Shah did not mention Daniels by name. Trump “denied the claims she made last night” he said. “He has been consistent in doing so, she has not”.

Shah spoke hours after Cohen’s own lawyer, Brent Blakely, wrote to Daniels’ attorney to say she had made false and defamatory comments, “namely that [Cohen] was responsible for an alleged thug who supposedly visited” and threatened her.
