Mark Robinson, of North Carolina, has been making some waves these last few weeks. Most recently, he went on Fox News and had some choice words for himself and what dubbed “the silent middle”.
“What’s happening is that you have fringes on both sides that are screaming and the silent middle is just being overlooked. We’re overtaxed. We’re under-represented. We’re disregarded,” North Carolina resident Mark Robinson told “Fox & Friends” hosts. “A lot of times our words are ignored. That needs to cease.”
“I had to let the council know how I felt,” he added. “I do not intend to sit idly by while politicians make rules that take away my rights as a law-abiding citizen. If I commit a crime, I expect >my rights to be withheld. Until that time I expect my rights due to me under the Constitution and my government and city and state.”
Most recently, he SLAMMED his local government asking “Why do you want to take away my rights?”
“You want to restrict my right to buy a firearm and protect myself from some of the very people you are talking about in here tonight,” Mark Robinson, a Greensboro, N.C., resident said.
“The law-abiding citizens of this community, of other communities we are the first ones taxed and the last ones considered.”
“I’m the majority. I’m a law-abiding citizen who has never shot anybody,” Robinson said. “Never committed a serious crime. Never committed a felony. I’ve never done anything like that.”
“It seems like every time we have one of these shootings, nobody wants to put the blame where it goes, which is at the shooter’s feet. You want to put it at my feet. You want to turn around and restrict my rights.”
The man makes a point and we here at RRV fully support him. What say you?
