Todd Starnes is a self-described “gun-totin, bible-clingin, chicken-eatnin, son of a Baptist” and he has a warning for Pres. Trump
Bringing up a Godfather reference, Starnes warns Trump about partnering with the establishment Republicans. He believes Paul Ryan will go “Fredo” on the POTUS.
Starnes said “the Freedom Caucus is not the enemy here” when commenting on the fracturing of Republicans when Ryan tried to repeal and replace Obamacare with a legislative proposal that held only a 17 percent approval rating.”
Further noting that his biggest concern is that Trump will deflect the promises and stances he promised while on the campaign trail.
