WATCH: Bill Nye “The Engineer Guy” Gets Grumpy

I’m not saying that we don’t have an impact on the environment, I’m just saying that the evidence isn’t there to show some large-scale impact that “they’ve” been trying to claim. That said, Bill Nye, most known for his 90’s kids science show (90s kids will ‘member) has become a large advocate for this extreme climate change that’s been trying to get hocked on us for the last couple of decades. Here, he’s accused CNN of doing a “disservice” to it’s audience by having a real scientist on to discuss the issue.

“There’s this myth that’s developed around carbon dioxide that it’s a pollutant, but you and I both exhale carbon dioxide with every breath. Each of us emits about two pounds of carbon dioxide a day, so are we polluting the planet?” William Happer, who has advised President Donald Trump on climate issues, said.

“Carbon dioxide is a perfectly natural gas, it’s just like water vapor, it’s something that plants love. They grow better with more carbon dioxide, and you can see the greening of the earth already from the additional carbon dioxide in the atmosphere,” he explained.

Bill Nye The Engineer Guy tried to clap-back, stating that Happer, a physicists at Princeton, didn’t understand the rate or speed at which carbon dioxide is entering the atmosphere. That’s when he attempted to rip CNN a new one…

“And I will say, much as I love the CNN, you’re doing a disservice by having one climate change skeptic and not 97 or 98 scientists or engineers concerned about climate change,” Nye said.

So again, I’m sure we’re having some kind of impact. But the “rate” and “speed” is what I call into question. Regardless, I support alternative fuel sources just to get off our middle eastern dependency of oil. That’s enough for me…
