Watch! Illegal Alien-Loving Liberals Put To The Test – And Fail!

To whiny liberals, bringing in illegals without vetting them is all fun and games until it’s their homes in question. A reporter hit the streets in Washington D.C. to ask supporters how they felt about taking in illegals since Trump announced he wanted to dump them in sanctuary cities.

President Trump on Monday announced illegal immigrants will be “given” to Sanctuary Cities and States, pending official decisions from the Department of Homeland Security.

“Those Illegal Immigrants who can no longer be legally held (Congress must fix the laws and loopholes) will be, subject to Homeland Security, given to Sanctuary Cities and States!” Trump tweeted Monday.

The president’s announcement comes after reports revealed last week that the administration had floated releasing detained immigrants into sanctuary cities twice over the last six months.

“Due to the fact that Democrats are unwilling to change our very dangerous immigration laws, we are indeed, as reported, giving strong considerations to placing Illegal Immigrants in Sanctuary Cities only,” Trump tweeted last week, suggesting that “the Radical Left” should be “happy” with the idea.

Supporters of sanctuary cities in Washington, D.C., stumbled and made excuses when asked to open up their homes to house an immigrant family.

While a few were opposed to having sanctuary cities as safe havens for illegal immigrants, many were enthusiastic about them.

everal even supported the proposed policy of releasing illegal immigrants from detention centers into sanctuary cities.

When asked if they personally would open their homes to house immigrants, most of the supporters backtracked and made excuses.

“If my apartment was bigger than a shoe box, I would do it in a heartbeat,” one supporter said.

“I live in a very small apartment, so I wouldn’t be able to,” said another.

Other than a few sane responces the large majority seemed to be for illegals coming to their city. Even in their own neighborhoods but from there, their responses completely change. They were ok with the idea of having illegals as neighbors but in their home? Of course not.  Take a look:

Democrats fumed over the proposal last week, and on Monday, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y.; House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings, D-Md., and House Homeland Security Chairman Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., penned a letter to DHS and the White House Monday requesting emails, and other communications between administration officials related to the proposal.
