The first impeachment hearing held in the House Judiciary Committee was very riveting and contained a lot of important information from the four witnesses. I honestly learned quite a bit while watching the hearing.
There were some on the Committee who weren’t as enthused about everything, especially Chairman Jerrold Nadler.
While Rep. Steve Chabot was actually talking about Nadler and the entire Democrat party for orchestrating this whole charade, you can clearly see Nadler nod off and jerk back to reality.
According to The Daily Caller,
Democratic New Jersey Rep. Jerry Nadler was caught on camera appearing to have some difficulty keeping his eyes open as his Judiciary Committee colleague, Republican Ohio Rep. Steve Chabot, was speaking during Wednesday’s impeachment hearing.
The momentary lapse by the House Judiciary Committee chairman was posted by the Trump War Room Twitter account, which was quick to poke a little fun with some sleep-appropriate music.
OOPS: Sleepy Jerry Nadler got caught dozing off as he chaired House Democrats' #ImpeachmentHearing.😴💤

Sure, it got boring at times, with Democrats repeating the same talking points over and over again, but you would think that Jerry Nadler, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, who was actually running today’s hearings, would be able to stay alert.
Perhaps Nadler was just tired of seeing the Democrats’ case against Trump go up in smoke. Professor Jonathan Turley quite epically poked ginormous holes in their case, even pointing out their double standard with regard to their claims of obstruction. Or perhaps it really doesn’t matter what anyone says — the Democrats are gonna do what their radical base demands they do, regardless of the facts. (PJM)
I’ll admit that I find myself in this same position from time to time where I’m fighting to stay awake and the next things I know I snap out of it only to realize that I was briefly asleep. However, Nadler should be giving his full attention because after all, this is his hearing.
