14-Year Old Boy Calls 911 After His Entire Family Is Murdered…Then Confesses

Tragedy has struck in a small town in north Alabama known as Elkmont located near the Tennessee border.

A 14-year old boy called 911 to report that he’d heard gunshots upstairs while he was in the basement of his home. The young teen later confessed to killing his father, stepmother and his 3 siblings.

The boy’s motive is still to be discovered the Limestone County Sheriff’s office said. The handgun used in the shooting was reportedly recovered by police alongside a road nearby.

WAFF 48 News reports, Huntsville City Schools confirms that Mary Sisk was a teacher at Mountain Gap Middle School. In a statement, school spokesman Keith Ward said, “We are heartbroken to learn of the tragedy involving one of our teachers, Mary Sisk, and her family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Sisk family and we ask everyone to remember them during this difficult time. The district will help Mountain Gap Middle School this week with additional counselors and other resources for any students and staff who need support during this time.”

It was reported that the weapon which was used in the murders was not a registered weapon and was indeed illegal.

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department tweeted,

UPDATE: The two subjects in critical condition have died. The 14-year old caller was interviewed and confessed to shooting all five members of his family in the residence. He is currently assisting investigators in locating the weapon, a 9mm handgun that he said he tossed nearby.

The 14-year-old was a student at Elkmont High School. The school released a statement to Twitter.

“Please be in prayer for our school and community,” the statement reads. “We will have extra counselors at school today.”

This is such a tragedy. What could have been going through this young man’s head as he gunned down his entire family, including a baby?

The Lord will have his vengeance on the wicked and none will escape his wrath on that day.
