One of the idiots who set the Metro Courthouse on fire in Nashville last year during the George Floyd riots is getting served a sweet dose of justice.
Wesley Somers, a Hendersonville, TN man was identified as one of the arsonists who set the federal building on fire back on May 30th last year and has now plead guilty to the charge of federal arson.
Earlier that day, protesters of the death of George Floyd, after marching from Broadway to 1 Public Square and leaving a trail of damage to more than 30 downtown buildings, had gathered outside of the courthouse shouting ‘No Peace,’ ‘Don’t Shoot,’ and ‘I Can’t Breathe’ while spray painting obscenities on the walls and sidewalks.
Windows were broken and at around 8 p.m. protesters managed to break into the courthouse setting fires and vandalizing the interior as well as exterior of the building. Video taken at the protest showed the protesters burning the American flag.

PJ Media reported,
Others were also arrested for the courthouse arson. Another man was arrested for assault with a skateboard.
This is one of the few situations where rioters have been charged with federal crimes and prosecuted. Roughly half of those arrested in Portland have had their federal charges dropped. Hundreds of rioters and looters in New York City recently had their charges dropped as well.
Nationwide rioting over George Floyd could cost up to $2 billion.
Somers is painted by the media as a proud boy instigating infiltrator – part of a coordinated effort to escalate conflicts at what was billed as the ‘I Will Breathe’ March. Somers’ brother-in-law who accompanied him to the courthouse refutes this narrative saying, “We went down there strictly for a peaceful protest and it turned violent and then it just, everything kind of just unraveled the way it did.”
Somers will be sentenced on December 1, 2021. He faces a minimum of five years in prison but could be sentenced to up to 20 years.
