Now that the Inflation Reduction Act has been signed into law – a bill in which we will not actually see any meaningful reduction in inflation – the IRS is getting ready to come after everyday Americans.
You’ll remember that part of the new law introduces a whopping 87,000 new IRS agents to the government.
You may also recall that in their job posting, they mentioned them having to work their butts of with at least 50 hours per week, so forget about your family life. But the most important thing was that they must “carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force, if necessary” as well as “be willing and able to participate in arrests, execution of search warrants, and other dangerous assignments.”
Why would an IRS agent need to do these things? They are basically just “glorified” accountants. I use that world lightly because there is nothing glorifying about being the person who is in charge of forcibly stealing other people’s hard-earned money.
So, if you thought that these additional agents were coming after the mega rich to make sure that they’re paying their “fair share” of taxes, think again. Recent video shows that our government is really “training” these people who are wholly unqualified to be carrying a firearm and confronting people to bust down your door and take that money one way or the other.

Look, tax evasion is a crime according to our law. I get it. But not every crime deserves a gun in your face. If I run a red light, and I going to be met with a gun? If I forget to put on my seatbelt when driving, do I need to be afraid that I might get shot? How about if the numbers on my taxes aren’t right? Are they going to shoot me because I owe them money? That sounds like a mob, not a government.
