The jury in the Billy Cosby sexual assault trial announced they were deadlocked after 30 hours of deliberation, and the judge told them to keep deliberating.
The jury has been at it since Monday, pausing more than 6 times to revisit key pieces of evidence which includes Cosby’s decade-old admission that he fondled Andrea Constand after drugging her.
“This is an incredible jury that has just acted with incredible dignity and fidelity,” O’Neill said. “I don’t have any higher praise. You have taken your task so seriously.”
Cosby, 79, is being charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault which brings a max is charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault. Each carries a maximum 10-year prison term, though the counts could be merged at sentencing if he is convicted.
I guess he’s freaking out or overly confident because out of nowhere he does a blast from the past and gives out an old Fat Albert “HEY HEY HEY” as he’s leaving the courthouse.
