I’m not sure if you’re aware, but China has been placed under a major lockdown once again as new cases of the “you-know-what” have been reported.
However, the entire situation is ludicrous. What are their plans for the future? Is a fresh lockdown planned once or twice a year when the numbers get too high? This is not a viable option.
I believe it is simply a political and power maneuver by the communist leadership.
Our lockdowns were terrible enough depending on where you were, but China’s seemed to be on another level entirely.
Tens of millions of people are under lockdown and when the vice premier of the Chinese regime visited Shanghai, she was not greeted warmly. Instead, she was greeted with shouts that there is no food left and that they are starving to death.
The vice premier, Sun Chunlan then told some of her officials to send over some vegetables to those people.
Look. There is a problem with your government if the only reason that someone is able to get food is because a government official just happened to be there to get shouted at.
Honestly, I think that the only reason she probably even said something about sending over some vegetables is because she was in front of cameramen and several others. She needed to keep up appearances. In reality, she probably had some people go over to whoever that was and wipe out the entire household for shouting at her.
This isn’t even the first time that this has happened either. Last December during another lockdown, residents were shouting at her things like, “I want to eat!”
For whatever reason, they are not allowing them to even get the food that they need to make it through this lockdown.
So, yes, I know our lockdowns were bad, but as you can see we should still look on the bright side and that is that at least we’re not China. At least, not yet.
