Coca-Cola CEO Calls New Georgia Voting Law “Unacceptable”, Here’s Why

Think liberals can’t get any dumber? You’d better think again…

James Quincey, the CEO of Coca-Cola, which is headquartered in Georgia recently did an interview with CNBC in order to talk about the new voting legislation in Georgia.

Why in the world they are asking this guy anything about voting laws to begin with is beyond be, but that’s the way the MSM and Democrats operate.

Here’s what he said:

Quincey said, “Let me get crystal clear and unequivocal this legislation is unacceptable. It is a step backward. It does not promote principles we have stood for in Georgia around broad access to voting, around voter convenience, about ensuring election integrity. This is frankly just a step backward. We have spent many decades promoting within Georgia a better society and better environment for business, and this is a step backward. Our position remains the same. This legislation is wrong and needs to be remedied. We’ll continue to advocate in both private and even more clearly in public.”

He added, “We believe that’s acceptable for the citizens of Georgia and we are coming out more clearly saying that this is wrong and needs to change. The reality is many things are improved and done and achieved in private without having to take a public stand. In this case, it’s not worked clearly, and so we’re being more forceful in our public position, even more than we were earlier this week, and will continue to advocate for change in Georgia.”

Also, this is not a step backward, this is a step forward and it’s absolutely no different than anything else you might encounter anywhere else. These are common-sense laws.

Ok…like what?

Requiring someone to provide their name, address, and ID number to vote even with a mail-in ballot. What is wrong with that? Nothing.

Not leaving drop boxes out overnight where they could be tampered with. What’s wrong with that?

So in reality, he’s opposing a phantom. There is nothing racist or wrong about the legislation. The only thing racist is people thinking it’s racist because they assume black people can’t use the internet or get IDs when there is no proof that this is the case. Here’s a video reminder of that.
