President Trump is untouchable. It’s not because he’s so elusive that he can’t be touched as though he’s a modern day Al Capone.
He’s untouchable because he’s upstanding and there is nothing against him.
Nevertheless, crooked Democrats are always trying to trip him up. While President Trump will not face criminal charges at the moment, the Trump Organization is expecting charges.
New York attorney general Letitia James broke the news last month that a fishing expedition by Cyrus Vance would now become a criminal probe with the state joining the “investigation.”
After President Trump’s attorneys failed to convince prosecutors to drop the case, the prosecutorial team told USA Today that the CEO of the Trump Organization, Allen Weisselberg, had not “cooperated” with their probe. The CFO did not provide prosecutors with artificial ammo against President Trump, and he will pay the price.
Weisselberg is expected to be charged with failing to pay taxes on employee benefits. These include apartments and vehicles provided to employees as corporate perks.
Former Trump personal attorney and fixer Michael Cohen has acknowledged meeting with New York prosecutors multiple times in cooperation with their investigation.
Cohen has told USA TODAY that he would not comment on any aspect of the case, citing the ongoing investigation and his potential role in it as a key witness for the prosecution. But he has commented extensively on Twitter on how grand jury proceedings significantly accelerate the investigation.
Cohen, who pleaded guilty in 2018 to federal charges that included campaign-finance violations for paying hush money to women who claimed to have had sex with Trump and for lying to Congress, has repeatedly pointed to Weisselberg as most knowledgeable of the former president’s business operations.
It’s unusual for a company to face criminal charges for this type of situation. It should come as no surprise, though, that the state that brought you Governor Grandma Killer would go after President Trump and his business after coming up with nothing more substantial during their witch hunt.
This thing is going to go nowhere just like the sham impeachment trials did. It’s just another way for Democrats to keep attacking President Trump because of their racist hatred.
