Once again, the Democratic party is redefining a term, but this time, they’re reinventing what it means to be insane.
If you ask me, all they need to do is look in a mirror and they’ll see what insane means. If they look at the ridiculous laws that they’re put in place for decades, they’ll see what insane means.
If they look and see how they treated President Trump compared to how he really was, they would see what insane is.
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris may hold a slim majority across two out of the three branches of U.S. government, but that hold is slipping away like an avalanche.
The economy has skidded off course from a point we have not enjoyed in decades. Turmoil has again gripped the Middle East. There is a growing sense of unrest between the United States and her most ardent enemies.
Russia and China are growing more emboldened by the day. Administrative policies are bad enough, but the smug mannerisms of both V.P. Harris and her supposed boss are even more insidious. Despite images of our border being overrun by illegal activity, there isn’t a crisis.
There is a crisis at the border, but there may be an even bigger crisis in the Democrat Party. Now, New York’s answer to a radical Hollywood political pundit has spouted off a head-spinner. Sex in the City actress, and former candidate for New York Governor, Cynthia Nixon, thinks that we shouldn’t prosecute shoplifters.
Her crazed sense of compassion especially means those who have taken advantage of riotous conditions in our violence befallen major cities. This is almost so far out in left field you may find it hard to believe.
Nope, she actually said it. Worst of all, she truly believes it to be true. That means because radical thugs are overrunning our police, it’s okay to walk into a store and take whatever you want.
Cynthia seems to indicate radical anarchists should be allowed to pick and choose which laws apply to them. If these were conservatives marching in protest against a radical socialist takeover of our nation, the sentiment would be different for sure.
Errol Louis, a Spectrum News NY1 journalist retweeted a NYT story:
“The mundane crime of shoplifting has spun out of control in San Francisco, forcing some chain stores to close. Walgreens said that thefts at its stores in San Francisco were four times the chain’s national average, and that it had closed 17 stores, largely because the scale of thefts had made business untenable.”
Louis added on his tweet:
“Worth noting that several candidates for Manhattan DA (and for NYC Mayor) say shoplifting should not be prosecuted because that’s ‘criminalizing poverty.’”
Nixon shared the tweet by Louis on Twitter and wrote:
“The CVS on my corner has started locking up basic items like clothing detergent. As so many families can’t make ends meet right now, I can’t imagine thinking that the way to solve the problem of people stealing basic necessities out of desperation is to prosecute them.”
However, it’s very unlikely that anyone with an ounce of conservative common sense would think it’s okay to loot and pilfer in the name of social protest. These people aren’t protestors, they’re anarchist thugs. They should be locked up. Maybe the likes of Cynthia Nixon should be booked into an adjoining cell.
