I grew up watching both the Atlanta Braves as well as the Atlanta Falcons. It just so happens that Deion Sanders played for both and at the same time.
That’s definitely not something that we see in today’s sports world.
Many don’t know it, but Deion is actually the head coach for Jackson State’s football team. Well, he made his way into the news this week, but not for anything great.
Instead, he’s in the news because he demonstrated what a jerk he is and how high and mighty he thinks that he is above us peasants.
Deion ended an interview abruptly after the journalist called him by his first name.
“You don’t call Nick Saban, ‘Nick.’ Don’t call me Deion. If you call Nick (Saban), Nick, you’ll get cussed out on the spot, so don’t do that to me…Treat me like Nick.”
After he called him Deion once again, the pompous jerk got up and walked off from the interview. Get a load of this garbage.
Deion posted the video clip on Instagram saying,
This is how all of this started, I really Pray for all of us because this was something so minimal that was hilarious to me that you allowed a FOOLISH media outlet and person to play on your Preconceived notions. I’m all about Peace,Love,Work,Commitment,Sacrifice & Forgiveness. Stop allowing folks you don’t have a relationship with to convince you otherwise about someone you do have a relationship with. I’ve been 💯 with you since 85 and I ain’t gon stop now that I’m COACH PRIME. And I had a GREAT TIME AT THE HBCU PRESS CONFERENCE & I NEVER LEFT. I LEFT THE FOOLISHNESS BECAUSE I’ve learned the gift of walking away from Mess. Ladies and Gentlemen stop allowing disrespect! People will do what they think they can get away with! Not today, God bless u all.
What an entitled piece of trash that he can’t be referred to by his first name. All this does
Is this true though, what Deion said? Will Nick Saban cuss you out if you call him Nick? Well, let’s see. It happens at the very beginning of this video.
