Democrats are attempting to save Hunter Biden from an unavoidable fate, but in doing so, they are only further harming their own reputation.
Hunter Biden is under investigation by the Department of Justice, and I believe it will only be a matter of time until he is indicted on a variety of federal counts.
It’s obvious that his father should be engaged in this as well, but I’m confident that they’ll do all in their can to keep the old man out of jail. They’ll also most likely keep Biden around long enough to grant Hunter clemency as well.
However, the Democrats prevented the House Oversight Committee from having Hunter subpoenaed to testify.
“Democrats just denied our motion to subpoena Hunter Biden,” the Republican members of the committee wrote on Twitter. “They refuse to hold Hunter accountable for his shady business dealings that make us more dependent on China for renewable energy. It’s past time for accountability.”
Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) made a motion to subpoena Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden’s son, as a witness at its hearing about making all U.S. Postal Service (USPS) vehicles electric.
“I just made a motion to subpoena Hunter Biden as a witness for the House Oversight and Reform Committee’s hearing on electrifying [the USPS],” Biggs wrote on Twitter. “Hunter sold a U.S. cobalt mine to a Chinese company. Cobalt is necessary for electric car production. Hunter’s expertise is invaluable!”
I can’t help but think that all of this is still a well-coordinated facade in order to get Biden out of office in 2024. Democrats still want a Democrat in charge of course, but they don’t want Biden. They only wanted him because he was electable.
When I say well-coordinated facade, I don’t mean that Hunter didn’t do anything wrong, he most certainly did. What I mean is that the information coming out at a certain time is done on purpose and it’s all a large scheme by the left.
