Let’s take a mental trip back in time to the first impeachment sham of 2019-2020.
Democrats charged President Trump with a quid pro quo, accusing him of offering money to a foreign country in exchange for agreeing to investigate his political opponent.
We all know that this was false and he was ultimately found not guilty.
We all have heard the phone call, we’ve read the transcript and nothing like that ever happened. The Democrats were simply hellbent on getting rid of President Trump because he disrupted their tyrannical rule over the populous.
But do you remember that there was a whistleblower that supposedly tipped off the Democrats to this “crime”?
Well, the suspected whistleblower, Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman has recently put out a new book in which he flat out claims that he was the primary source of the leak.
He leaked the information to Eric Ciaramella so that Ciaramella would be “the whistleblower”, but in reality, this is just a formality. Vindman was the whistleblower.
But here’s the thing. Vindman lied to Congress about this because he testified under oath that he wasn’t the whistleblower.
He also lied about the contents of the call.
Prior to the call, Vindman included a discussion about corruption in the talking points provided to the president but Trump did not use them in the call.
The summary Vindman wrote after the call read:
President Trump underscored the unwavering support of the United States for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity – within its internationally recognized borders – and expressed his commitment to work together with President-elect Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people to implement reforms that strengthen democracy, increase prosperity, and root out corruption.
He later had to take it back, “That’s not entirely accurate, but I’m not sure I would describe it as false, it was consistent with U.S. policy,” Vindman said.
