Gen. John Kelly , Homeland Security Secretary, said it was “outrageous” that unnamed U.S. officials have leaked intel information about the Manchester attack.

On Fox News Sunday Chris Wallace recalled how the UK / US shared intelligence about the attack, Salman Abedi, and the attack itself being leaked to the media.

“It’s outrageous,” Kelly said.

Kelly went on to add that he offered assistance and give his condolences to his British counterpart, Home Secretary Amber Rudd

When the intel leaked, British Prime Minister Theresa May blasted the leak during a televised statement.

“I don’t know why people do it,” Kelly said of the leaks. “It jeopardizes not only the investigation, but people’s lives.”

After the leak, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson apologized to May and MI5.
