As a top member of the Intelligence Committee, Dianne Feinstein, says she’s seen no evidence of collusion between Donald Trump advisers and the Russian Government. SHOCKER! OK not really, we already knew the truth. But the answer is making it’s rounds in the Democratic party.
“Do you have evidence that there was in fact collusion between Trump associates and Russia during the campaign?” CNN’s Wolf Blitzer asked California Sen. Dianne Feinstein during an interview on Wednesday.
“Not at this time,” she responded.
“Well, that’s a pretty precise answer,” Blitzer said.
The answer is in contrast to many other Democratic leaders who have “implied” that there is, in fact, evidence of collusion between the Trump Team and the Kermlin. California Rep. Adam Schiff, the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, has said he has seen “more than circumstantial” evidence showing coordination. Last month, California Rep. Eric Swalwell, another House committee member, said “there is evidence of collusion.”
