As a rough estimate, about half of Americans believe in ghosts.
There are several different views on what those ghosts may be such as deceased spirits who have come to visit or can’t move on to the next stage of life, some see them as demonic entities only, and yet some see them as angels. There are still more complex views on those including different types of ghosts.
Personally, I do believe in ghosts or spirits, but I’m not quite sure on how I would define them. I’ve seen a couple in my life and while I could try and explain them away if I really tried, I think that they still exist even if my experiences weren’t real.
I am a natural skeptic and I question everything that is out of the ordinary or doesn’t seem to fit with the everyday world. It’s sort of a blessing and a curse sort of thing. I question everything and therefore learn more about things, but at the same time, I’m skeptical about a lot of things and it makes it difficult for me to find amusement in some things or it makes me difficult to believe someone telling me about an experience.
I’ve even gone ghost hunting in the past with a very good friend and I’ve actually seen a ghost with him which was really crazy.
I could continue telling more ghost stories, but one that was recently caught on camera is pretty freaky.
Two dogs can be seen and heard in the video barking at something, which isn’t unusual because dogs bark – sometimes for no apparent reason at all.
Many people say that dogs and other animals contain some sort of “sixth sense” for being able to detect ghosts that are nearby. Whether that’s true or not, who knows. But it sure seemed like these two dogs could sense something.
Eventually, they stop barking and then the collar on one of the dogs unlatched itself and fell off which freaked the dog out. If it were just falling off, you wouldn’t think that he would freak out over it.
