This is the terrifying result of the very deliberate indoctrination of young people over the last few decades by the left. The Millennial demographic is filled with self-avowed socialists, and they are proud of it. Despite what history teaches, these young Americans truly believe that the foundational principles of our Democratic Republic, the greatest country in history, where you are free to believe what you want, are cruel, unfair, racist, and outdated.
Nowhere is this better illustrated than in New York’s 59th District Primary where 27-year-old millennial Kristen Gonzales soundly defeated former city councilman, Elizabeth Crowley by more than 25 percent. Gonzales proudly stated: “Today we really proved that socialism wins, we are not going anywhere, and we will not stop until we see a socialist slate across this city”

Her campaign platform included all of the left’s high-profile priorities including Climate Change, Student Debt elimination, having the “rich pay their fair share” to pay for low-income housing, Universal Healthcare, and even the “Good Cause” eviction bill which makes it basically impossible for landlords to evict tenants who are not paying rent let alone ever raising it. It’s not surprising that she has also garnered the support of the Working Family Party’s poster child, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and the Squad.
As time passes, millennials and now the Gen Z crowd come into age and start to fill positions of influence and power, and the history of failed socialist states fade. Along with an educational system, the mainstream media and execs of large Social Media Platforms that are heavily populated with far-left zealots actively engaged in Liberal woke indoctrination, a recipe of cultural changes is upon us. These young leaders like Kristen Gonzales, now fully indoctrinated into this ideological system, strongly believe that the re-distribution of wealth and assets is the “right thing to do” for the “underprivileged or oppressed”. Blinded by this intense brainwashing, they have lost the ability critically and objectively determine how any system should work in the context of a melting pot of 330 million people, as well as the desire to study real history.
What is really at play here is nothing more than power and a strategy to win elections. The Democratic party has moved further left than ever before. They have seized on an opportunity to influence new younger generations with what they see as the moral high ground. When you control the media, schools, and social media, anything is possible.
I’m not going to extrapolate this into something akin to the Third Reich, however, in my nearly 60 years on this planet, I never thought I’d see the core principles of our democracy so upside down. Criminals seem to be favored over victims, illegal immigrants are favored over legal citizens, and the scourge of racism which will always exist but has largely been tamped down over the last 40 years is once again dividing Americans more than it has in decades.
Good common-sense people who believe in what our nation stands for and the foundation it was built upon, need to speak up and be heard. We are still the majority, and we cannot remain silent and let this harmful ideology win, our future, and more importantly, our children’s futures are at risk. The left has done an amazing job at creating an environment where traditional values are seen as racist, misogynistic, homophobic, and immoral, we need to get involved and show the younger generations that is just not the case. Don’t be silent, don’t sit at home and do nothing, be proud of what you believe in and stand for, this is the only way to win this culture war. Politicians like Kristen Gonzales along with her ridiculous Socialist ideology must be defeated.
