Whether it’s NFL players kneeling for the national anthem while equating police officers to slave wranglers or ignorant celebrities accusing American border patrol agents of engaging in “terrorism,” it doesn’t take much effort to find stories of Americans vilifying this great country.
It’s truly disheartening to see just how much the country has changed for the worse since presenting a unified front after that fateful day in September, (9/11) so many years ago.
But every once in a while, it’s nice to be reminded that patriotic Americans do still exist. For example, take this video making the rounds on social media.
Originally shared by the homeowner, Gail Cook, who came home to find their flag properly folded on their porch after strong winds had blow in off the pole. Imagine Cook’s suprize when she relalized the FedEx guy is the one who respectivly handled their flag. Much less, that this young man was a US Marine.
“Today our flag pole broke with the high winds. The FedEx driver saw this when he was driving by and stopped. He not only picked up the flag but folded it properly and put it away safely on our porch. Thanks FedEx!!! I hope he gets the recognition he deserves, I can’t thank him enough,” Cook wrote in praise.
Considering it’s sitting at only around 28,000 views as of this writing, it needs much more recognition so we are trying to get this story out there. Take a look:

“He did this not knowing anyone was watching — he just did it because it’s the right thing to do, and we just really appreciate that he took the time to do that for us,” Cook told the Sun.
King attempted to raise the flagpole and realized that the pole was broken. He then removed the American flag and used the correct method of folding the United States flag.
A Baltimore Ravens flag was also folded.
