IRS Investigating BLM After Secretly Spending $6 Million Donations

The tragic death of George Floyd catapulted Black Lives Matter (BLM) to national prominence. The radical activist group had been relevant prior to Floyd’s murder on May 25, 2020, but Floyd’s death gave them a purpose to continue their destructive ambitions.

To fuel its deadly appetite, BLM, like any other politicized group, demands funding. BLM operates under the guise of the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLMGNF). They use a variety of strategies to raise donations.

Logic implies that this money will go to BLM-backed causes, whether you agree with them or not. However, a significant amount of the BLM’s funds do not go there. One investigation discovered a hidden purchase in Southern California.

BLM attempted to keep the acquisition a secret so that no one would know about it. It’s simple to understand why. The radical political group used money borrowed from contributors to purchase a luxury home. In October 2020, shortly after getting a substantial cash infusion from select important fiscal sponsors, BLM sought someone to buy an upscale property.

Apparently, the man had close ties to BLM’s co-founder, Patrisse Cullors. The secret purchase was a seven-room, exquisite mansion home. The investigation revealed even more crookedness. This home purchase was a method of hiding the so-called charity’s corrupt misuse of funds.

In an effort to hide the property owner’s identity, BLM quickly transferred ownership to an LLC located in Delaware. BLM tried to bury the story by preventing journalists from gaining access to any documentation about the transaction. Clearly, their crooked pursuits failed. BLMGNF board member Shalomyah Bowers tried to explain away the purchase.

Like most of BLM’s excuses, it was a lame attempt to cover up the obvious. BLM is nothing but a radical moneymaking scheme. These truths were exposed when Cullers was forced to resign after evidence surfaced about various million-dollar properties she purchased with BLM funds.

This isn’t the first time they have been caught. BLM is a radical political activist group that has misled the American people. They used the public sentiment for George Floyd as a false pretense for their nefarious agenda. Since Floyd’s death, BLM has raised over $90 million.

A chunk of this money has been wasted on lavish lifestyles. Both Cullors and Bowers are guilty. All we have to do is look at the causes supported by Bowers’ own website. The mission statement says it all.

“Bowers is a fully integrated strategic advisory, data and communications, and political consulting firm. Our mission is to support progressive causes and campaigns that are tackling some of the biggest political challenges, domestic and abroad, facing society today.”

These people do not care about black lives. The only lives they care about are their own. They’re also not very smart at hiding their actions. A key group of BLM leaders recently said they were celebrating the one-year anniversary of George Floyd’s death.

Someone recognized the house. The video was published in June. It showed Cullors and BLM leaders Melina Abdullah, Patrisse Cullors, and Alicia Garza all dining outside the $6 million California mansion. The video has been deleted from YouTube.

It seems it was too late, as images of their extravagance are still available. The IRS granted BLMGNF tax-exempt status two months after the purchase. This tax-exempt status means BLMGNF must reveal donor and expenditure information. They have not.

According to reports, BLMGNF failed to submit the required forms in 2020 or 2021. Bowers tried to explain this as well. She insisted that the charity “always planned” to disclose the purchase. Bowers insists the lavish home was bought for the purpose of “housing and studio space.”

A $6 million mansion was somehow necessary for the Black Joy Creators Fellowship. She went on to claim the home was never purchased as a private residence. Nevertheless, it certainly works as a fancy place for these crooks to have dinner.

BLM couldn’t care less about real black lives. It is a crooked organization that promotes violence. It is a piggybank for a select group of radical activists. The IRS’s issuance of a tax-exempt status is a sham. BLM should be investigated and prosecuted for fraud.
