Representative Jim Jordan isn’t a RINO by any means. He’s actually one of the good guys that we’ve got in the House of Representatives.
Dr. Anthony Fauci recently was called before the House Coronavirus Crisis Subcommittee to testify on recent developments – or lack thereof – with the loss of liberties that we’ve been facing since the beginning.
“We had 15 days to slow the spread turn into a year of lost liberty. What metrics, what measures? What has to happen before Americans get more freedoms?” Rep. Jordan asked Fauci.
This, of course, comes after a year of having our freedoms stolen from us. Some states have had it much worse than others such as California, Michigan, and New York. In the red states, it has been restrictive, but not nearly as bad for the most part.
“You’re indicating liberty and freedom. I look at it as a public health measure to prevent people from dying and going to the hospital,” Fauci said.
“Your right to go to church, your right to assemble, your right to petition your government, freedom of the press, freedom of speech (has) all been assaulted,” responded Jordan.
“I think you’re making this a personal thing, and it isn’t,” Fauci told Jordan.
“It’s not a personal thing,” Jordan said.
“No, you are. That is exactly what you’re doing,” Fauci said in an exasperated tone.
The back and forth continued for some time, even after time expired for Rep. Jordan (they only have a limited amount of time to question people in order to make sure everyone gets a turn).
Finally, Maxine Waters decided to butt in and told Rep. Jordan, “You need to respect the chair and shut your mouth.”
Why wouldn’t they allow that question to be answered? He wanted to know what that magic number is when people can start living lives as normal once again. Do the Democrats not want an answer to that question? Of course, they don’t, because that’s when they lose some of their control over the population.
But that’s not all…
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH): “Are we gonna be here two years from now wearing masks …?”
Dr. Fauci: “You’re ranting again.”
