Joe Biden Gets Slammed for “Gas Price Savings” Tweet

I say it all the time, but the left is just completely separated from reality. It’s really like we’re living in the Twilight Zone.

Earlier this week, Joe Biden posted a tweet regarding how much fuel prices are falling. Instantly, people on social media unloaded on Biden for a number of reasons.

So, here is the tweet in question:

Washington Examiner and Daily Signal contributor Nicole Russell tweeted, “But I thought you had nothing to do with gas prices?”

Louisiana Sen. Bill Cassidy wrote, “In other words, Americans are paying over $100 more a month per ‘peson’ to fill up their gas tanks than when Biden took office.”

Washington Examiner reporter Andrew Kerr noted, “The figures in Biden’s tweet this morning assume the average ‘peson’ is consuming 50 gallons of gas a month per vehicle. 2 cars = 100 gallons of gas = $70 in ‘savings’ a month for the average American family, according to Biden’s methodology.”

“Now do prices compared to a year ago, snake oil salesman,” Lone Conservative founder Kassy Dillon tweeted.

I don’t know if he thinks that we’re stupid or something, well actually, I’m certain that he does actually think that we’re stupid because he thinks that we wouldn’t actually notice or that we would forget that he’s the reason why the gas prices are so high to begin with. Imagine someone breaking into your bank account taking all of your money out of it and then adding $5 into it and then bragging about how generous he is and how great of a job he’s done by adding money to your bank account. That would just be ludicrous. But that’s exactly what Joe Biden is doing.

The fact of the matter is that gas prices are still way too high. Inflation is way too high. The cost of groceries is still way too high. The cost of everything is still way too high. We’re going to be feeling this one for a long time.

I was just thinking about it yesterday on my way to the gas station. At what point will people start lowering prices again? Usually that’s not the thing that happens. Usually what happens is that people raise their prices and if people are paying that much for the items, then there’s no point in them reducing their margins by lowering their prices. Let’s go Brandon.
