Al Franken appeared on The View and did a “double take” of sorts when Joy Behar suggested that President Donald Trump doesn’t care about his grandchildren…
While there to discuss his new book Giant of the Senate, Franken criticized Trump’s possible exodus from the Paris climate agreement, stating he didn’t want his grandkids to look at him in the future and wonder why he didn’t do more about it.
As the interview concluded, Behar said, “President Trump has grandchildren also.”
“It amazes me that he is not concerned about his grandchildren. What does that say about him? But we have to go,” Behar said.
Then Franken kissed her on the cheek while she said, “I love you so much.”
