After leaving the White House, it’s difficult to know how much credit to give authors who write tell-all novels.
You have no idea how much of it is a falsehood, how much is a stretch, and how much is true. You can’t tell since you don’t know whether or not they’re trustworthy.
Former Attorney General Bill Barr just published his own book, “One Damn Thing After Another,” in which he discusses events that occurred during the Trump administration.
I will admit that it is a book that I probably will get myself because I’m curious to see exactly everything that’s in it. I’m sure that it will be entertaining if nothing else.
But recently there are some reporters from The New York Times to release a book. While they are not former White House staff it is possible that they could still have some insight into some things.
One thing that makes this one especially interesting is that according to this book they are revealing some details about Kamala Harris that are not so flattering. Mind you this is coming from reporters from The New York Times which is known to be left leaning.
Apparently, Harris was not very happy about being appointed to try to fix the problem at the southern border. I can’t imagine why. Probably because they’re ridiculous policies are literally impossible at solving the problem.
She also thinks that Biden’s “white inner circle” has issues with her. I’m sure she thinks it’s probably a race thing, but to be truthful that’s probably because she’s not the brightest crayon in the shed.
According to the Daily Mail,
Kamala Harris wasn’t happy with Joe Biden appointing her to address the southern border crisis, wanting a more softball foreign policy assignment, and thinks the president’s ‘white inner circle’ looks down on her, according to claims made in a new book.
During an April meeting with Congressional Black Caucus leaders, Biden praised Harris and said she would do ‘a hell of a job’ handling immigration.
‘The vice president corrected him at once,’ New York Times reporters Jonathan Martin and Alexander Burns wrote in their new upcoming book This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America’s Future.
The book also explains that the first minority and female vice president felt belittled by Biden’s white staff.
‘Some of Harris’s advisers believed the president’s almost entirely white inner circle did not show the vice president the respect she deserved,’ they wrote.
‘Harris worried that Biden’s staff looked down on her; she fixated on real and perceived snubs in ways the West Wing found tedious,’ they added, according to excerpts published by Politico on Tuesday.
Biden tasked Harris with addressing immigration – and the vice president took her opportunities to share her dissatisfaction with the role.
According to the book, Harris’ aides felt that the task of addressing the southern border crisis, in any way, was politically undesirable and wanted the vice president to have a more softball foreign policy assignment – like overseeing relations with Nordic countries.
There’s a lot more that’s in his book that dishes dirty details on Kamala Harris. One of the things that the book mentions is the whole magazine cover that she didn’t like because of certain outfits and how it made her look inferior to other professionals. And then this became an issue of race as well.
Now, I probably won’t go out and buy this book to get all the details on this it’s not as interesting to me as Bill Barr’s book.
