Liberal Calling Soaring Crime Discussion Just a Scare Tactic to Sway Voters to Vote Republican (VIDEO)

Many members of the black community are seeking reparations. They want some money or something in return for all of the years of slavery that America participated in.

What’s the idea behind this? Why do they believe that they are entitled to it?

The Washington Post shared this bit in an article back in 2020,

Black people have been systematically robbed. They have been denied the right to their own bodies; separated from their siblings, spouses and children; and forced to work for free. After the Civil War, many purchased land, only to see it stolen. Prosperous Black towns were looted and burned. Blacks have been beaten and killed because of their race, denied the right to vote and prohibited from living in certain neighborhoods. They were and still are discriminated against in the workplace and prevented from earning fair and equal pay.

“An unsegregated America might see poverty, and all its effects, spread across the country with no particular bias toward skin color,” author Ta-Nehisi Coates wrote in “The Case for Reparations,” a landmark 2014 article for the Atlantic. “Instead, the concentration of poverty has been paired with a concentration of melanin. The resulting conflagration has been devastating.”

Many people contend that reparations to the descendants of Blacks enslaved in America shouldn’t entail millions of individual checks but investment in community institutions or restitution by companies that benefited from slavery.

Okay, so I suppose the thought is essentially that because their ancestors were basically robbed from in the past, they haven’t had that opportunity of inherited wealth that many white people have. Now what about the idea against reparations?

That one is pretty straight forward. The idea is that we didn’t do anything and we’re not responsible for the deeds of our ancestors, so we shouldn’t be robbed from either.

Honestly though, if the government would quit blowing ridiculous money on stupid crap, they could have already paid reparations and that conversation would be long gone by now. It’s really amazing just how much money our government blows and how many problems legitimately could have been fixed by now. Homelessness could be done away with already, our veterans could be better taken care of, poverty could have been ended. It’s really astonishing.

Anyway, recently, and MSNBC contributor claimed that Republicans are using the soaring crime rates as a means of scaring voters to vote Republican and saying that it’s racist. This is because of something that Sen. Tommy Tuberville said.

Well, what did Tuberville actually say? He said, “They want reparation because they think the people that do the crime are owed that! Bulls**t!”

Is that what Republicans are doing? Are they using the crime rate as a way to “scare” people to vote Republican? Well, yeah, because you SHOULD be concerned with soaring crime rates. It’s not a scare tactic just to be a scare tactic, it’s a reality that we’re dealing with. Democrats aren’t doing anything to stop the rising crime rates so you would be an fool to keep voting Democrat and thinking that they’re going to do something about it.
