Mitt Romney Booed and Heckled During Speech at Utah Republican Convention, Then Snaps at Delegates (VIDEO)

I would suspect that none of you are supporters of Senator Mitt Romney.

This man is as RINO of a RINO as John McCain ever was.

Recently, Sen. Romney received a very unwelcome reception at a Utah Republican Convention.

More than 1,900 delegates attended the event at the Maverik Center. When the former presidential nominee walked on stage, a chorus of boos greeted him.

The heckling was so intense that Derek Brown, Utah’s GOP chairman, had to calm down the delegates. His efforts quieted some of the attendees, but others kept up the pressure, chanting “shame on you” and calling Romney a traitor.

Aren’t you embarrassed?” said Romney trying to deflect the chorus of catcalls that greeted him as he took the stage.

“I’m a man who says what he means, and you know I was not a fan of our last president’s character issues,” said Romney as delegates attempted to shout him down. Accusations that Romney was a “traitor” or “communist” flew from the crowd like so many poison darts.

The cacophony of disapproval only ended after outgoing party chair Derek Brown scolded delegates to “show respect” for Romney.

“You can boo all you like,” said Romney. “I’ve been a Republican all of my life. My dad was the governor of Michigan and I was the Republican nominee for president in 2012.”

He can claim to be a Republican all he wants, but we know everything we need to know about Mitt Romney. He is a RINO through and through. This is the same man who voted…as the only Republican, to convict President Trump during his impeachment.

Romney might as well be a Democrat because he’s no Republican, and his appeal to his father as a means of justifying his “Republican-ness” of his political persuasion is shameful. But he’s using his dad because he knows that he doesn’t have enough credibility among real Republicans.
