NASA Releases Eerie Audio of a Black Hole, Everyone Compares it to the Sounds of Hell

NASA was able to record the sound that was emanating from a black hole that was located approximately 200 million light years away. The audio file has been played hundreds of millions of times already, indicating that it has gone mega-viral. A number of individuals characterized the sounds as being as if they were emanating from hell. (I had no idea that NASA was even capable of picking up sounds inside the White House.)

The following was tweeted by the official account:

“The misconception that there is no sound in space originates because most space is a ~vacuum, providing no way for sound waves to travel. A galaxy cluster has so much gas that we’ve picked up actual sound.”

“Here it’s amplified, and mixed with other data, to hear a black hole!”

Here is what some people have said about the audio from NASA:

“Nasa, on a pleasant august sunday evening: hey wanna hear what’s surely the wailing of souls trapped inside a black hole since the beginning of human existence,” read one popular response.

“Oh neat it’s the sound of demons screaming from the depths of Hell,” said Matt Walsh.

“I’m not religious, but I’m starting to think that those souls sent to Hell actually end up in a black hole,” tweeted an associate professor of planetary science.

“According to NASA, a black hole sounds like billions of souls wailing in anguish from the depths of hell. Neat! I didn’t plan on sleeping anytime in the foreseeable future, anyway,” read another reply.

“Good news everyone! We recorded the sound of a god’s eternal death scream as its collapsing gravity bends light and warps reality!” joked another user.

Personally, I don’t think that this is what hell would sound like. It’s an eerie sound, but does it sound like hell? I don’t think so.
