I hate how our government is run now. With so many problems, I’d propose revising our own Constitution if it weren’t so likely to give liberals too much influence in how things are run.
The reason I say this is that, while certain principles exist and should continue to exist, the left has been able to exploit legal gaps to their benefit.
We should maintain free speech, separation of church and state, the right to bear arms, and honestly all of the Constitution. The problem is that when it was originally written, the founders would have never dreamed that we would end up in the predicament where we are now where the government has this much control and steals this much of our money. I think it would be helpful to be better able to set boundaries in our Constitution that is more explicit on what things like the “separation of church and state” actually means and how you can’t sue a business owner because he doesn’t want to serve you. It’s his business! He can do what he wants with it.
We, indeed, live in a time unlike any other in the course of history. I honestly can’t imagine how much longer this planet will survive us. But, I digress.
Back in January 2021, there was the protest at the Capitol and several things happened that shouldn’t have by both the protesters as well as the Capitol Police and government officials.
A handful of people actually died that day, and it seems that they died as a result of the government. We know the man who shot Ashli Babbitt was a Capitol Police officer who shot her even though she posed no threat.
We also know that Rosanne Boyland died as an apparent result of a stampede. But is that really the case? Newly released bodycam footage seems to suggest otherwise.
In the video, you can see Boyland being hit three times in the head and body while she was lying motionless on the ground.
Use-of-force expert Stanley Kephart, upon reviewing the previously unreleased footage, concluded that the three full-force blows by D.C. police officer Lila Morris constituted a felony assault with intent to cause great bodily harm.
Kephart called Morris’s use of force “indefensible” and the internal-affairs investigation of Boyland’s death a “clear and convincing coverup.”
“I think that the first thing that occurred is an assault under the color of authority by Morris,” Kephart told The Epoch Times. “That is a crime, an arrestable offense.”
She was ignored after people made pleas to help her. It wasn’t until another 10 minutes later that police and EMS began trying to help her. Sadly, nothing worked. The damage was done, and it was too late.
Abuse of power. That’s the greatest threat to our country and we see it everywhere. We see it in Congress, we see it in our police, and as evidenced by the video, we see it in even the Capitol Police who felt it justified to beat an unconscious woman.
