James O’Keefe and Project Veritas have done it once again. Sadly, most of the news that they uncover just gets written off as “edited footage” that liberals claim deceptively portrays a circumstance as something other than what is seen on the video.
The problem with this is a problem that I have not only with liberals and their claims, but with other areas of life as well.
It’s not enough to just say something is other than what it is, you must prove it.
If there is evidence that indicates one thing, the burden of proof is on the opposing side to dispel that evidence or to offer a better or equally plausible explanation.
In my opinion, if there is a theory on a matter that seems plausible, but there is also an alternative opinion that also seems plausible, then neither are conclusive and while there is evidence, it’s not strong enough evidence to prove anything.
But what typically happens is that liberals and the mainstream media will shout that he has selectively edited the material to make someone look bad, but in fact, that’s not true at all. They just say it and hope that people take that as fact.
My argument would be that of course it’s edited because it’s not a full-length video. Plus, Project Veritas isn’t in that sort of business to create manipulated stories like CNN does.
But the most recent release shows that New York Times reporters know that what they’re doing is pushing lies.
One reporter is now on video admitting that the January 6th stuff was really much ado about nothing whatsoever. Even going as far as saying that there were a ton of FBI informants there that day.
New York Times National Security Correspondent, Matthew Rosenberg. Not only did he contradict his own reporting, but he admitted that the FBI was involved.
Rosenberg said:
“There were a ton of FBI informants amongst the people who attacked the Capitol.“
It was like, me and two other colleagues who were there [January 6] outside and we were just having fun!”
“I know I’m supposed to be traumatized, but like, all these colleagues who were in the [Capitol] building and are like ‘Oh my God it was so scary!’ I’m like, ‘f*ck off!’”
“They were making too big a deal. They were making this an organized thing that it wasn’t.”
