Gunman Opens Fire At Florida Peace Rally – Realizes BIG Mistake Too Late

It began as a fistfight during a Titusville, Flordia school ‘peace in the city’ rally. The Titusville park was full of small children playing inside the bounce houses.

One of the men involved in the fight then left only to return later with a gun and opened fire into the crowd of more than 100 people. The alleged gunman would not realize his massive mistake until it was too late. Because attending the rally was a legally armed gun-owner, who quickly took action and returned fire. Essentially, ending the terror and saving lives.

The initial shooter was airlifted to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said. His gun was recovered from the scene. Police said the shooting scene was secure, WKMG reported.

The bystander who shot the suspect waited for officers and has been fully cooperative with the investigation, police said.

“We are extremely grateful that nobody else was injured in this incident,” Deputy Chief Todd Hutchinson said. “This suspect opened fire at a crowded public park. This could have been so much worse.”

The entire ordeal was captured by a DJ who was playing at the rally:

As Reported By  RWN

Parents brought their children to the school for a “Peace in the City” event that was promised to be a “day of fun, not violence.” It turned out to be the exact opposite of that, unfortunately. The ‘peaceful’ part of the event ended when two people got into a fistfight.

One of the guys involved left and then came back with a g*n. He opened fire in the park, which was full of children. If our hero had not been there and armed, this could have been even more tragic. The gunman was airlifted to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. There is no word on whether he will survive or not at this point. No one else was hurt.
