Police Search Is On For Leftist Who Uprooted And Urinated On Veteran Cemetery Flags

Police are on the hunt for a man who witnesses say uprooted and urinated on small flags placed at the graves on United States Veterans. A passerby caught photos of the despicable person and shared them on Facebook. The authorities took over from there and are asking for help identifying the man in the photos.

According to The Gateway Pundit, On Monday George Gatteny was driving near the Somerville Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Massachusetts when he noticed a man pulling miniature flags from the ground in the veterans cemetery.

Gatteny then saw the man urinate on the US flags that he threw on the ground.

The witness says he followed the couple and also took photos of where be believed the couple lives. He then turned that over to the police.

“In an e-mail, Somerville Police Deputy Chief James Stanford wrote Tuesday that police have been alerted to a Facebook post in which a man described witnessing the incident Monday while passing the cemetery on Broadway,” The Boston Globe reported.

“We are aware of the Facebook posting and have opened an investigation into the matter,’’ Stanford wrote Tuesday. “This is an active and ongoing investigation and no further information is available at this time.”

As Written By NBC Boston:

“Somerville Veterans Memorial Cemetery is the final resting place for many who served our country. George Gatteny says the usual calm and tranquility was disrupted by the sights and sounds of disrespect.

Monday afternoon, Gatteny says he was sitting in traffic on Broadway in Somerville, Massachusetts, when he saw a man pull out four miniature American flags from the ground with a woman acting as a look out.”

“According to Somerville Veterans Services, the cemetery contains remains of soldiers killed in World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam Wars and the 1983 Beirut bombing. Gatteny says he just wants to make sure they continue to be honored and respected for their service.”
