The Hollywood movie mogul, Harvey Weinstein, has been under public scrutiny since the story of sexual allegations broke last fall. Since that time several women have come forward against the producer and a mass outing of other Hollywood stars have taken place.
Weinstein is apparently ready to face the music and his accusers and allegedly will be turning himself in at Manhattan’s Supreme Court.
According to Huffington Post, Harvey Weinstein plans to turn himself into New York City law enforcement on Friday morning, The New York Times reported Thursday citing two unnamed law enforcement officials, along with other news outlets.
The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office has been conducting a criminal probe into accusations against the disgraced former Hollywood producer.
A grand jury has been hearing evidence in the case for a number of weeks, The Associated Press reported.
When contacted by Fox News, the NYPD referred all calls regarding information on Weinstein to the district attorney’s office. A deputy press secretary for the DA’s office said they did not have any information at this time.
