For those who don’t know, a hot mic is when audio is recording but is often intended for private moments or before filming usually begins. Sometimes these can catch some really crazy things!
Sara Netanyahu, wife of the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, was caught on a hot mic bashing the media while welcoming President Trump and First lady Melania to Israel.
“I talk every place about how great she is and how great you are,” Sara Netanyahu said to the president. “I can testify to that,” the Israeli prime minister jumped in.
“Because the majority of the people in Israel, unlike the media, they love us so we tell them how you are great so they love you,” Sara continued.
As she was speaking, POTUS Trump leaned into counterpart and said, “We have very much in common,” to which Benjamin Netanyahu replied: “Sounds familiar.”
