Satanists Demand Religious Exemption to Perform Illegal ‘Abortion Ritual’

The most recent bill passed in Texas is a bill that will ultimately save the lives of thousands of children.

In case you’re unaware of the bill, the legislation bans all abortions beyond 6 weeks into a pregnancy.

The Satanic Temple is not happy about the move by Texas to save unborn children from abortion providers. Satanists are arguing that this new law will restrict their freedom of religious practice, because they have referred to abortions as “religious rituals” and think it’s a central part of their religion. which can be found on the TST website.

The Daily Wire reported,

The Satanists argue that the law restricts their right to free religious practice, referring to abortions as a “religious abortion ritual” and “a ceremony rooted in our deeply-held beliefs” on the TST website.

“This ritual may be performed by our members as a way to fortify self-worth, instill confidence, and provide spiritual comfort,” the TST website adds. “The performance of the Satanic abortion ritual is protected by religious liberty laws. It exempts Satanists from fulfilling any medically unnecessary and unscientific requirement, such as mandatory waiting periods or unwanted sonograms, that interferes with the practice of our ritual.”

The group has now taken direct legal action to defend its members’ rights in the legal system. The current laws in Texas are a direct threat and violate the rights of the people, TST members have stated in general.

In a sickening move by the Satanists, the day after they filed suit, they asked their members to carry out completely illegal abortions. The group has offered to help its members get an abortion within the first 24 weeks of a pregnancy.

The new Texas abortion law went into law on September 1st, 2021. The law is the first heartbeat law to not have a stay in the Supreme Court. Abortion clinics gave the courts a petition to continue giving abortions, however, the court has decided to litigate the law completely, before allowing any more abortions that would go against the current new law.
