School District Forced to Cancel Classes Because of Teachers’ Temper Tantrum

Have you ever questioned how deep the teachers’ unions’ radical liberal ideology is rooted? Well, one group of around 1,500 educators in Colorado will help clear that up. Parents in the Douglas County School District recently voted to transform their school board.

They were fed up with the constant kowtowing of board members to the overpowering liberal teachers’ unions. Voters across the county voiced their protest using their ballots. The democratic majority elected a conservative school board.

However, these same so-called “liberals for a better democracy” protested against democracy. If it sounds hypocritical, that’s because it is. One of the first items on the newly elected school board’s agenda was the unnecessary and damaging county-wide school mask policy.

Not only do masks not help in preventing the spread of COVID-19 in virtually every setting, they are especially unhelpful and actually detrimental to children. So, the school board rescinded an original mandate. It’s called the democratic process. That’s how it works.

But the liberal-leaning bulk of Douglas County school teachers didn’t like the policy. So, instead of showing up at the school board meeting to properly debate the topic with board members and parents, the teachers just didn’t show up for work.

Once again, to meet their own radical agenda, it’s the children who suffer. The teachers protested outside the Douglas County School Board office. They not only wanted the democratically decided policy reversed, they insisted the school superintendent quit or be fired.

Over 1,000 teachers said they wanted to teach their students how to properly stand up against politics. Unfortunately, they have it backwards. These spoiled brat teachers are teaching their students to act like spoiled brats when they don’t like a political result.

If you don’t get your way in a democratic society, just don’t show up. Sit out the game, so to speak. However, there is more to this story. While the teachers said they were protesting the rescinding of the mask mandate, their agenda seemed more deeply rooted.

What appeared to be most important in this protest was the petition for the superintendent’s removal and a desire to create upheaval in the duly elected school board. These teachers don’t like the outcome of the vote, so they’re throwing a fit.

There are also reports by CPR News in Colorado concerning other beefs the teachers have with the current Douglas County school board. Apparently, the teachers also do not want the board to consider changing the district’s radical equity policy.

Again, the voice of the people be damned. These radical teachers are trying to circumvent the democratic process. This isn’t a lesson for students to learn about democracy; it’s a lesson in how to throw a temper tantrum if you don’t get your way.

These types of events are not unique to Douglas County, Colorado. They are happening all across the United States, and for good reason. Parents are sick of radical liberals trying to indoctrinate their children.

They’re fed up with a racist classroom curriculum. Parents have had enough of forced mask mandates that do nothing but steal life from their children. Parents across the U.S. are speaking out. They’re ruffling the feathers of these self-entitled educators.

Teachers across America have had it too easy for too long. Parents are proudly taking a renewed interest in their children’s education. They are speaking with their votes. However, teachers don’t like that. It’s too democratic, we guess.
