Scott Walker and Wisconsin Dem’s Heated Debate Over Healthcare

Scott Walker, Wisconsin Governor, got into a rather heated debate with Tom Nelson, a County Exec. in Appleton, Wisconsin, over the new healthcare reform. Nelson thought he would “challenge” the government in regards to the future of the state’s own healthcare plan after a local event promoting tourism.

“What is your plan?” Nelson asked.

“The plan is I’m going to wait for what the Senate and the president do, and we’ll see from there,” Walker said.

Nelson, who was not satisfied with Walker’s response, continued to press the governor on the issue. Walker then responded by saying, “If you want to play politics, you should run for office… You want to run for governor, run for governor.”
