Spirit Airlines Passenger Brawl After 11 Cancellations

What in the fudge are these airlines doing?!?! You know, folks… despite the popular saying, some publicity is, in fact, bad.

And they should have seen it coming, if you ask me. A group of pissed off passengers quickly escalated into a full-on brawl that INCLUDED COPS following their cancellation of 11 flights at a Florida airport. The “incident” happened at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport where a near-riot occurred as passengers started yelling and pounding on counters.

Attempts by security to calm the very angry passengers failed and when the cops stepped in, well, they got dragged into the fight.

At least three people were arrested and the incident delayed 26 more flights. All of this as a union despite is going on between the APA (Airline Pilots Association) and it’s pilots who refused to fly out due as a protest.

A spokesman for Spirit stated, “We are shocked and saddened to see the videos of what took place at Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport. This is a result of unlawful labor activity by some Spirit pilots designed to disrupt Spirit operations for our customers, by canceling multiple flights across our network.”
