Ted Cruz SLAMS Ilhan Omar After Siding with Hamas Against Israel

It still blows my mind that Ilhan Omar is a member of Congress with as much hate she has toward America and Israel.

Honestly, the only reason that she’s in Congress is because of buying votes which Project Veritas revealed to us a couple years ago.

Now, she’s catching criticism once again. This time, Republican senator Ted Cruz criticized the Minnesota democrat for her characterization of Israeli attacks on Hamas military targets as terrorist acts.

Israel targeted 130-plus Hamas installations in retaliation for rocket attacks by the militant organization.

“Israeli air strikes killing civilians in Gaza is an act of terrorism. Palestinians deserve protection. Unlike Israel, missile defense programs, such as Iron Dome, don’t exist to protect Palestinian civilians,” Omar said. “It’s unconscionable to not condemn these attacks on the week of Eid.”

She later doubled down on the claim, saying: “Many will tell you Israel has a right to defend itself, to safety and security, but are silent on whether Palestinians have those rights too. Until we can defend the rights of Palestinians just as we do Israelis, we have no leg to stand on when it comes to justice or peace.”

Cruz posed the question, “Why is a member Of Congress acting as the press secretary for Hamas?” Ilhan Omar claimed that the Palestinian people lack the military protection enjoyed by Israeli citizens in the form of the Iron Dome missile defense program. She also criticized the lack of criticism of Israel for attacking Palestinians during the week of Eid, a Muslim holiday celebrating the end of Ramadan.

However, Omar failed to address the fact that Israel acted defensively after being attacked by Hamas. This is not the first time the Mogadishu-born congresswoman has made controversial statements. She was said to have minimized the attacks against the United States on 9/11 by saying simply that “some people did something.”

Ilhan Omar is nothing less than an enemy of America. She is supportive of terrorist organizations and is extremely anti-Israel. This isn’t a combination that we should have in Congress. Israel is an ally and it’s not a good thing to be their enemy.
