The death of John McAfee has really sparked the interest of a lot of people.
Basically, it’s become the 2021 episode of Jeffrey Epstein. Many, if not most, people do not believe that McAfee was suicidal and killed himself.
But apparently, McAfee had something else up his sleeve (or in his pocket)- a suicide note.
As the ink finished drying on his paperwork to return stateside, he was found dead in his Spanish prison cell.
In October 2020, he was apprehended at a Barcelona airport after being flagged for excessive back taxes in Tennessee to the tune of approximately $4 million, which led to prosecutors issuing a warrant to detain McAfee.
According to his wife, Janice, the US authorities are responsible for McAfee’s death. She said the case in the US was undergoing an appeal. His death was found suspicious after many vaguely menacing tweets were published over the last several months.
‘We had a plan of action already in place to appeal that decision,’ Janice McAfee told reporters. ‘I blame the U.S. authorities for this tragedy: Because of these politically motivated charges against him my husband is now dead.
“I don’t believe he did this, I will get answers,” she said.
English by birth, McAfee embraced life in America. His widow stressed his love for life, ambitious spirit and excessive appetite for the finer things shaped that him was contagious.
An autopsy will be conducted in the next few weeks while U.S. authorities pledge their determination in investigating the details behind his death.
‘His last words to me were ‘I love you and I will call you in the evening,’ the 38-year-old told reporters outside the Brians 2 penitentiary northwest of Barcelona where she recovered her late husband’s belongings.
She said they spoke earlier on the day he was found dead and made no indication that he wanted to take his own life.
‘Those words are not words of somebody who is suicidal,’ she added.
