Because we all know what mainstream media is really about they just can’t seem to be able to leave it alone. This time they tried to get one of the best pro golfers in the world, Tiger Woods!
Total Pro Sports is reporting that over the weekend Tiger Woods made his best effort to stay out of trouble when asked about his relationship with President Trump.
Now keep in mind all Woods said is that we need to respect the office.
Here’s Tiger being asked about Trump.
Now don’t forget all this came about because a “reporter” said that people of color have felt threatened under Trump and his policies. To which Woods responded: “Well, he’s the president of the United States. You have to respect the office. No matter who is in the office, you may like, dislike personality or the politics, but we all must respect the office.” Of course, these common sense comments angered some of his supporters such as Max Kellerman and Stephen A. Smith who are the hosts in the video posted below.
The two co-hosts actually accused the 14-time majors winner of making a ‘stupid’ comment. With Stephen A. Smith actually going as far as stating that Tiger Woods isn’t Black.
Oh come on people. Tiger Woods is classy. He isn’t one of those ball tossers from the NFL who are still much part of the ghetto culture although they are worth millions. Woods said nothing wrong here and it’s about time everyone takes a step back and breathe.
If more people were like Tiger Woods our nation would be a lot better off than it is today. Since Woods knows he is a legend at golf, and because of this no one really cares to know his politics or what he thinks. Maybe those ignorant NFL players should think about following his lead?
Here is more on the Tiger Woods controversy via Yahoo Sports:
“After a week that saw tumultuous legal and political troubles for the president, as well as the death of Senate icon John McCain and yet another mass shooting, President Donald Trump began Monday by venturing back into a bit of morning-drive sports talk.
This time, Trump didn’t take a side on the Jordan-vs.-LeBron debate. Rather, he expressed gratitude on Twitter to both NFL legend Jim Brown and Tiger Woods for, respectively, praising and not actively criticizing him in recent days. Let’s take a closer look.
