Former Vice President and former Governor Mike Pence is not well-liked by nearly anyone in the Republican party anymore.
In fact, he’s become the new punching bag for the Republicans.
But standing by as Joe Biden’s fraudulent presidential victory was certified also made him a target of Trump supporters.
At the Faith & Freedom Coalition in Kissimmee, Florida, Pence began his speech by saying how happy he was to be among so many patriots. Although he tried speaking over them, his words were soon drowned out by cries of “traitor!” before security escorted the loudest protestors out of the Central Florida venue.
Pence continued by touting his accomplishments as part of the Trump administration. Next, he criticized the Biden administration for its handling of Israel and immigration. Pence pointed out that he, unlike Commie-la Harris, had visited the southern border.
Slate reported,
Pence ignored the hecklers and kept speaking. “I’m a Christian, a conservative and a Republican in that order,” Pence said in what has now become a familiar line for the former vice president that always elicits lots of cheers. The reaction to Pence’s speech showed that while he still has lots of backing in conservative circles many supporters of former President Donald Trump haven’t forgiven him for certifying President Joe Biden’s Electoral College win. Trump has been publicly critical of Pence since that day.
Pence addressed the issue earlier this month, saying that while he and Trump have spoken several times since the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, it’s likely the two would never “see eye to eye on that day.” But he still praised Trump several times during that speech and said he would “always be proud of what we accomplished for the American people over the last four years.”

Although much of the audience cheered him on, the former Indiana governor has his work cut out for him if the 2024 rumors swirling around are true. Many die-hard Trumpers will never forgive him, making it difficult to imagine a Pence victory if President Trump decides not to run again in 2024.
