Tucker Carlson goes head to head with Dave Cortese, Santa Clara County Supervisor, over a judge’s decision to block POTUS Trump’s order withholding funds from so-called sanctuary cities. Cortese says that Trump’s order was “riddled with problems” and believes that the particular judge rightly upheld the Constitution.
He also believes that the order violates peoples right to due process “regardless of status”… what? NVM… moving on.
“We don’t do deportation here, we do civil law and criminal law,” Cortese said. “It’s up to ICE who’s entitled to be here.”
Carlson responded in a pretty epic way (we wouldn’t expect anything less) by asking “If Jackson, Mississippi [decided to] re-segregate schools, would it be ok to withhold funding?” Carlson asked.
