Some people are careful and deliberate about what they do, where they go, and what they watch.
There are a lot of people who call for boycotts, but they often don’t get their way because Americans have reached a point in history where they don’t want to be inconvenienced.
Years ago, for example, there was a big push to stop using Netflix after it was found that a disturbing movie about young girls was really disturbing. Customers who didn’t want to pay for Netflix decided to cancel their subscriptions, but many of those who did ended up signing back up again.
Now Netflix is in a fight with a huge company that is even bigger than it is. Disney is in a culture war, and the damage they’ve done to their image isn’t going to be fixed. However, when you’re the only one who likes what you have, it’s difficult for people to boycott you, and they know it.
It’s one thing to say that you’re against them, but it’s another thing to actually follow through with what you say you’re going to do.
I know people who are against what Disney is doing, yet they went to Disney World last week. What sense does that make? Like I said, they just can’t bother being inconvenienced in today’s culture. We have soft people today and soft people causes problems and leads to hard times which then breeds strong people who then create easy times. It’s a vicious cycle.
But regarding Disney, more and more people are coming out against them, even stating that they’re ashamed to even work for the company.
The employee, a custodial cast member of 35 years for Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park, spoke to The Epoch Times under the condition of anonymity for the fear of being fired.
He said Disney’s stance against the Parental Rights in Education bill is just another part of the ongoing effort of the company’s new progressive management to push their “California Disney liberal policies” onto the Disney experience of the Sunshine State.
“They’re calling it the ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill,” the cast member told The Epoch Times. “It’s not a ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill. It’s a parental rights issue.”
“What they’re doing with this inclusion clause and the fight over the ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill is they are creating a problem that never existed before,” he said. “They’re wanting to ‘solve’ a problem that they are creating. Ask the average gay employee at Disney and they will tell you, they agree with DeSantis.”
But honestly, it’s disgusting at just how far Disney, a kids company, is willing to go to defend and push this disturbing leftist propaganda.
