Correct me if I’m wrong, but I grew up believing that the president and vice president weren’t really supposed to spend a lot of time together at the same location just in case something happened to one of them.
If something did happen, at least one of them would still be around to run the country. Maybe I’m wrong about this, but that’s what I was taught growing up.
One thing that I’ve found to be very odd with Joe Biden manning the helm is that Kamala Harris always seems to be somewhere not too far away.
But that’s not the case with this go around. Biden needs handlers and it looks like Kamala might just be one of them. There have been several videos in which we’ve seen people directing Biden on what to do or where to go. He’s like a lost little puppy in the big city and usually Kamala or Jill Biden have to help him along.
This week, Biden was at a signing ceremony. That seems like it’s simple enough right? You sign a piece of paper or two and then pass out a few pens so that they can be thrown away. Well, it seemed like maybe it was a little more than what Biden could handle on his own.
As he was passing out pens, he gave them away to everyone except for the disabled woman who was sitting right next to him. Did I mention that this signing was on the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act? She was there for a reason and he gave pens away to everyone else.
That’s when Kamala had to step in and tell him that she needed one still. He immediately snapped back mumbling something along the lines of, “I will, but I wanna make sure I got all the…” then he realized that was the last pen and that she hadn’t received one.
