WATCH: Reporter Goes Rogue Live on Air About Corruption at News Station, Promises Leaked Audio

Censorship has reached unprecedented levels in the United States. Quite literally, there has never been a point of time in the history of our nation where someone has been censored the way that many are today.

However, we are seeing it more and more, especially from the tech giants. But we’re also seeing it at a local level at well.

During a regular TV news report on the heat wave that’s going on in Texas, one reporter went off the script to call out her employer for censoring her as many others at the station.

The reporter for KRIV-TV, Ivory Hecker started her segment by calling Fox Corp at right away.

“I want to let you the viewers know that Fox Corp has been muzzling me to keep certain information from you, the viewer. And from what I’m gathering I’m not the only reporter being subjected to this. I am going to be releasing some recordings about what goes on behind the scenes at Fox because it applies to you the viewers. I found a non-profit journalism group called Project Veritas who is going to help put that out TOMORROW, so tune into them.”

For a previous story, Hecker herself told Newsweek — which reported that video footage of Hecker’s remarks has been viewed more than 2 million times at the time of this reporting — that she has had issues with the network since “last August” when relations reportedly took a “dark turn” following an interview she conducted.

“They decided they didn’t like what the interview subject had said, and they went on to internally harass and defame me,” Hecker insisted. “I knew I was not working for a journalistic organization when I was called into an HR meeting in December and was told to keep my support for free speech and opposition to censorship to myself — that those were not matters to be publicly spoken about.”

“True journalism can’t exist in an environment of censorship,” Hecker added. “True journalism needs an environment of free speech.”

She’s going to end up losing her job, I’m pretty certain of that. She was already suspended, but I’m sure she knew what the end result was going to be after doing something like this. But good for her for calling this type of corruption out. If we don’t do this whenever we see it happen, it’s just going to continue to happen more and more until we can no longer contain it.

Honestly, it seems like we’ve almost already reached that breaking point in many respects, but praise God for those out there who are still calling out people who need called out. Praise God for organizations like Project Veritas who is on a mission to expose corruption wherever it is regardless of whether it’s from the right or the left.
